How to Shuffle Songs In iTunes So They Play Randomly

When you want to listen to music on your computer with iTunes and you have a large number of songs in your music library, instead of playing each song one after another in the original order, you can listen to them randomly. ITunes is a free media player application from Apple that you can use to rip MP3s from your CD collection and download songs from the iTunes Store. ITunes has a shuffle feature for playing music randomly.

      Launch iTunes on your computer.

      Click "Controls" at the top of the iTunes application window.

      Click "Shuffle," then click "Turn on Shuffle."

      Click "Controls," then click "Shuffle." Click "By Songs" if you want to play your songs randomly. Click "By Albums" if you want to play songs from one album, in order, and then play another album at random. Click "By Groupings" if you want to play all the songs in one group in order, as specified by the grouping tag on the songs, such as the name of a record label, then play another group at random.
